Data on the track and in the field.

Western Australia Athletics needed a timing solution that catered for both track and field events. In 2018 we were able to supply them with an integrated package delivering high quality results and data.

The track package includes two reverse directional finish line cameras; FinishLynx EtherLynx Vision Pro cameras which capture up to 20, 000 frames per second. As well as the cameras to capture photo finish results WA Athletics has a FinishLynx IdentiLynx Camera which captures photos of the athletes as they cross the finish line. This camera facilitates athlete engagement after the event and gives a greater opportunity for sponsor advertising. A FinsihLynx start system including a gun and speaker allow reliable and quality race comencement also ensuring all data collected is simultaneous. 

On the field FinishLynx FieldLynx enables easy collaboration and recording of athletes events, scores and performance data. Finally a small and compatible wing gauge accessory provides a more accurate record of conditions and athlete performance.

Athlete Engagement.

All athletes results and times are displayed on a place, lane, time LED display using high quality LED’s to allow visibility from all angles. The video boards are encased in an aluminium powder coated enclosure to ensure stability and durability. The front LED’s are protected by a polycarbonate protective window ensuring protected against the harshest conditions.

All this equipment and the integrated package is certified  for IAAF competitions, ensuring our delivered solution meets the needs of our clients venue and their governing sporting association.
