RFID Transponder – MultiSports Tag

The MultiSports Tag is compatible with the BibTag System and is a great extension to your timing portfolio. It is designed and optimised to handle the rough and demanding conditions at triathlons and mud runs, while providing the same outstanding accuracy and reliability as regular ThinTags.

MyLaps offers disposable MultiSports Tags, which help minimise pre and post race handling. Participants can keep their tags as a souvenir or dispose them. Besides disposable tags, MyLaps provides reusable MultiSports Tags. These tags can be washed in a regular washing machine and re-used. MultiSports Tags are designed for detection on the ankle. They can be worn under a wetsuit, making it ideal for triathlons.

Attached to the start number on a athletes chest, on the ankle or on the bike frame, the tag sends a unique UHF signal to:

Identify the athlete
Record the exact time at which the athlete passes the detection mats.

MyLaps has developed different solutions for different sports. Choose the tag that suits your event best, based on the sport, the size of the event and the setting in which the event is held The ThinTag on the Bib start number eliminates post-race handling and minimises pre-race handling.
