40 years of trust in Brook Group Solutions

Newcastle Jockey Club has been a loyal Brook Group client since the 70’s, relying on our equipment to bring them high resolution race results.

The club has continued to upgrade and improve their solution and in 2015 Brook Group installed a huge 82m² Video Screen. The multi-functional screen allows simultaneous display of results, track information, sponsorship and advertisement. Boards are encased in an aluminium powder coated enclosure to ensure stability and durability. The front LED’s are coated in an IP-65 protective waterproof mask ensuring the board is protected against the harshest conditions.

From the 70s to Today.

Newcastle Jockey Club uses two Finish-Lynx EtherLynx Vision Pro cameras one on the main finish line used as a mirror camera in order to gain better race results as images are captured from both sides of the track and one camera as a back up. Brook Group Photocell sensor beams are installed at the 600m mark and finish line to gather extra race data. Finally the Brook Group Timing Device combines all of the pieces of the solution together in one  infallible system.
